The European solar industry continues its growth and 2021 is set to close with yet another record in terms of new installed capacity: 25.9 GW connected to the grid; a 34% increase over the 19.3 GW installed in 2020.
In spite of the delicate economic moment and the rise in raw material prices, 2022 photovoltaics should not be outdone either.
In the most likely average scenario, European solar will continue its strong growth from the current 164.9 GW of total cumulative capacity to 327.6 GW by 2025 (up to 672 GW by 2030).
